Zef spent 6 months building his PhD hypothesis - Games are the best pedagogical tool for teaching entrepreneurship. However finding the right first supervisor at Leeds proved elusive and he decided that starting a business might be a faster way to test his hypothesis. Coming from cold and rainy Britain, Zef wanted a company name that represented sunny California and the majestic Sequoia trees. This is how Yellow Sequoia was born.
